Fishing.

You know how people think fishing is? They think it's just cast a line in, wait for 15 seconds, then boom, hundred pound fish on their line.Well not exactly, you have to be patient and know where the good fishing is. Then you might get a 5 pounder. You can follow birds and look for ripples, or just look it up on your phone or computer. I just went on a 5 hour fishing trip with my grandfather, so let's get into that!  I woke up at 6:20 like I usually do, and I got ready, and we left at 8:20.  When we got to Poplar Island, (AKA an island about a mile from my house) we started casting out lines, and I felt a strong tug, and I reeled in what looked to be a ray, then it belly flopped into the water.  Then my line got caught on a rouge crab pot, which is basically a crab pot with a cut rope.  After that we went to the only power plant in Maryland, and on the way there, the ray net fell in the water.  We went fishing around the cliffs and power plant after that. In all we caught, drum

Camp Cody

Hi, It's Oliver, a contributor to the Flaccus Family Blog, here to tell you about my time at Camp Cody, with my siblings. First of all, when we heard we were going to Camp Cody,  my brother and I chest bumped and I jumped up and down with my Twin Sister. When I had my first activity, motorboats, I was so nervous I couldn't talk until I was on the boat. Then it was fun and I loved it. I did the tube, and I NEVER fell off. I tried the wakeboard, and I didn't even get up on it. The friends I miss the most were Tyler, Mason, Patiz, Bernardo, Cash, Theo, Dylan, Dylan, Aidan and Cameroni Macaroni. {AKA Cameron]. Tyler was my best friend, Cash was my favorite Senior, Theo was my second favorite, Dylan was my third. Bernardo and Patiz were my cabinmates. And my counselors were Jeronimo, Rourke and Francisco. At Camp Cody, if you have a clean bunk, you get ice cream, once I waited for 45 minutes, then when there were 3 people left, it shut down. My favorite meals at Camp were cheese

Camp Cody

At Camp Cody, there were a lot of different activities that we could do. We also had many different non-activities that we did, such as making friends, playing cards in my cabin with my friends, and running around camp for our next activity. One of my favorite activities at camp was drama/improv. It was so fun because there were many games that we could play. One of these games was 'Zip Zap Zop' and it really made you think. You had to say "zip" to somebody, and they would say "zap" to someone else, and they would say "zop" to one last person. If you hesitated at all, you would be out the goal was to be the last person standing. Also, you pointed at the person you were saying it to. Another activity I really liked was Gaga. Gaga might have even been my favorite activity. I loved it because it was a competitive sport, and you had to get people out while not getting yourself out. The way you got people out was by hitting a ball towards their feet. If

My Dream

Last night I had a dream about a bridge falling down, so for some reason we had to run a race, and the race was either inside or outside. Everybody wanted to do different things, so we split up. My dream was only about the outside one. We ran away from a bear or something, and there were people climbing up pillars and people being eaten. Then Isla and Oliver woke me up.
